Pastor Anthony L. Brooks is a 3rd generation preacher following in the footsteps, of his Grandfather, Elder William R. Vicks, Sr., Founding Pastor of the Righteous Church of God, and those of his Father, Dr. Lincoln Brooks, Jr., the former Assistant Pastor.
On October 27, 2024, Rev. Brooks was elected as RCG's third Pastor. A lifelong member, Rev. Brooks has served RCG in numerous ministry capacities. He was licensed to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ in May of 1992 and ordained in February of 1996 under the pastorate of Rev. Nathan M. Butler, Sr., (RCG's second Pastor). Rev. Brooks served as the Youth Pastor and was ultimately appointed as the Assistant Pastor.
With more than 30 years experience, Rev. Brooks has been privileged to preach throughout the Greater Washington DC Area and vicinity. He has also ministered internationally in Nakuru, Kenya and Aguascalientes (Central), Mexico.
Rev. Brooks attended the Maple Springs Baptist College & Seminary and earned a Master of Arts Degree in Pastoral Theology from The Washington Baptist Theological Seminary, with a concentration in Systematic Theology and Pastoral Leadership.
Rev. Brooks is the father of two adult children and grandfather to three grandsons.
